The 2016 RDX joins the Acura ILX, RLX and MDX to earn a 2015 TOP SAFETY PICK+ (TSP+) from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). “The 2016 Acura RDX offers up all the technology and creature comforts of a modern luxury SUV, but with a reasonable price and excellent long-term reliability. Combine that with above-average resale value, and suddenly it’s hard to argue against this 5-passenger SUV.”

* Government 5-Star Safety Ratings are part of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s New Car Assessment Program (www.safercar.gov). Model tested with standard side airbags (SAB). Starting with 2011 models, NHTSA has introduced tougher tests and rigorous new 5-Star Safety Ratings that provide more information about vehicle safety and crash avoidance technologies. Because of the more stringent tests, ratings for 2011 and newer vehicles should not be compared to ratings for 1990-2010 models. Overall vehicle score and frontal crash ratings should ONLY be compared to other vehicles of similar size and weight. For more information go to www.safercar.gov.
